I am currently a Henderson-Harris Fellow in Biology. I am a population geneticist interested in understanding the genetic basis of adaptation in rapidly changing ecosystems. Learn more about me by clicking here.

Andrew is an NSF GRFP fellow. His research focuses on the adaptive responses of marine organisms to multifactorial stress in the context of global climate change. He uses echinoderms to investigate selection responses to thermal and immune stressors. 

Katelyn is a 2024 Kay, Klieman, and Larrabee summer undergraduate research fellow. She is interested in understanding the impacts of climate change and ecosystem changes on marine systems.  She is investigating barnacle settlement dynamics and gene mutations in response to environmental changes.

Eliza is a 2024 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow (SURF). She is studying the effects of chromosomal inversions on adaptive evolution. She will be examining thermal tolerance in embryos of overwintering Drosophila.

Miles is a 2024 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow (SURF). Miles is interested in epigenetic changes resulting from environmental differences. They will be analyzing gene mutations and epigenetic differences in barnacle populations across various environments.

Luke is a 2024 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow (SURF).  Luke is interested in learning more about evolutionary biology.  He will be investigating the impact of seasonally oscillating chromosomal inversions in various feeding behaviors in flies.

Jake is a fourth year studying biology. He is interested in seasonal adaptations in Drosophila. He will be using computational biology to analyze genomic data. Outside of the lab he runs track and field, plays a lot of chess, and skis!

I am interested in population genetics and evolutionary biology.
